Green Party delegates from across the
country have just returned home from our Presidential Nominating Convention in
Baltimore, Maryland. They came to cast their votes for our 2012 Presidential
ticket - Jill Stein and her Vice-Presidential selection Cheri Honkala.
Maybe you saw the convention in the news
- there has been a media storm raging since the nomination on Saturday. You
might have seen coverage in the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun, or your own local paper.
Even though our nomination process has
been going on for months, our work has just begun. Now that we have selected a
nominee we must continue to win ballot access, spread the word in our
communities, and raise funds to promote our great ticket.
Your support is vital to our mission.
The Stein/Honkala campaign knows that it can best represent our values like
Medicare For All, ending the war in Afghanistan, and funding hundreds of
thousands of good green jobs by being on the ballot in as many states as possible this November.
We continue to work to win permanent ballot access for the Green Party in all
