WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement celebrating Thanksgiving:
“On this Thanksgiving Day, I want to wish every American a happy celebration surrounded by loved ones,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.
“Since the earliest Thanksgiving observances, this day has offered us a time to reflect on our many blessings—the love of family and friends, the blessings of life and liberty.
“Even in the midst of difficult economic times, we can still find reason to be thankful for what God has given us.”
“On this day of giving thanks, let us remember those in need—those looking for work and those struggling to provide for their families,” said RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “Let us recommit ourselves to rebuilding our country and economy and offering a helping hand to those in need.
“May God bless all of our families this Thanksgiving.”
