Want to fight back but just don’t have the time?

Dear friend of liberty,

"There aren't enough hours in the day."

How often have you heard that - or said it yourself?

Seems like our fast-paced society leaves little room to even breathe.

And our "to-do" lists certainly never get any shorter.

Meanwhile, politicians get to spend as much time as they want thinking up new ways to take our freedoms.

It's happening right this minute, in fact.

Somewhere, a statist is putting the finishing touches on another plan to get more control over your life.

And they'll smile nice and big for the cameras when their schemes are turned into law.

You and I hear on the news all the time about how ridiculous things are getting.

***  A zoning board telling a returning soldier he has to tear down a treehouse he built with his kids on his own property - after being told it was ok. (Luckily, the solider later won his fight.)

***  Beach-goers banned from tossing a Frisbee or football around - and fined if they do!

***  Americans being molested in airports just so they can take a trip to see their family or travel for work.
Most Americans shake their head at such insanity and wish things weren't that way.

Frankly, between working long hours, taking care of the kids, and trying to get a little sleep when they can, sometimes the only thing people have time to do about our country's condition is worry.

That's why Campaign for Liberty exists.

At C4L, fighting back against statism and working for freedom is our full-time job.

C4L takes the outrage you and I feel at a government that's betrayed everything our nation was founded on and combines it with others' voices to bring the pressure of over half a million members down on status quo-loving politicians at every level.

And I need your help today to keep our organization fighting to bring back common sense and constitutional government.

Here's just a little of what we've accomplished since our founding in 2008.

Audit the Fed:

***  Not only made the Federal Reserve a mainstream issue but generated the support of almost 80% of Americans for a complete audit of the Fed.

***  Saw a one-time disclosure passed into law that forced the Fed to admit it put taxpayers on the hook for trillions in addition to the government's other bills - in almost total secrecy.

***  Achieved historic transparency in how the Fed operates, with the Fed even holding its first-ever press conference last year to try to quiet down our movement.

DISCLOSE Act:

***  Led the fight to kill (against overwhelming odds) the First Amendment-shredding "DISCLOSE Act" (which should have been called the Establishment Protection Act), a bill that would have stripped away our donors' privacy and silenced our organization.

Building Our Army:

***  Trained and equipped thousands of grassroots activists at One-Day and Two-Day Schools and our Conferences to take their country back - starting in their own neighborhoods.

LPAC:

***  Hosted the first-ever Liberty Political Action Conference, which brought together over 700 dedicated grassroots activists, 26 speakers, and representatives from several liberty-loving businesses and organizations to celebrate the principles of freedom and prepare for future victories.

Breathed New Life into the 10th Amendment:

***  Virginia C4L was on the cutting edge of fighting ObamaCare with its victory in passing a bill to prohibit the federal government from forcing Virginians to carry only the health insurance bureaucrats approve of.
C4L has helped get rid of dangerous red light cameras in 15 states and 40 cities.

We're working hard to prevent ObamaCare's Health Exchanges from gutting state sovereignty.

C4L has gotten the word out to millions of Americans on the most pressing issues of the day through mail, phones, tv, radio, email, and the Internet.

We've fought for a legitimate Balanced Budget, Right to Work, and constitutional carry, and we've fought against powergrabs like the so-called "Patriot Act", the indefinite detention of American citizens, and government's attempts to censor the Internet.

Like I said above, this is only some of what we've been able to do since our founding - all thanks to your support.

Will you help us expand our efforts with a donation today of $25, $50, or even $100?

All the things I've listed here are just a small taste of what we can accomplish together in the future.

New threats loom on the horizon, with a power-hungry Congress and state legislatures desperate to cover their debts.

And previous battles remain to be finished.

We MUST get a total audit of the Federal Reserve passed this year - or be forced to start all over again with the next Congress.

We MUST fight the indefinite detention of American citizens - or resort to looking over our shoulder to see which citizen the President will deem a "threat" at his whim.

We MUST turn the pressure up higher than ever for Senator Rand Paul's legitimate Balanced Budget and IMMEDIATE spending cuts - or explain to our children why we allowed their futures to be mortgaged away.

We MUST continue the battle against the grab-first-ask-questions-later TSA - or watch one more right after another be taken away at our airports.

If you haven’t yet seen this latest video showing just how "secure" the TSA’s body scanners are, I recommend you check it out right away and help spread the word.

Zach, you don't have to just hang your head at the latest outrage and wish things were better.

You can take action right now to make them better.

I know Americans lead busy lives that often leave little room for political action.

But your donation to C4L today will help us continue to lead the fight on the issues critical to our nation's future.

Like I said earlier, fighting back is our full-time job.

We're advancing our lines and turning the tide against the statists nationwide.

Today, consider making a donation of $25, $50, $100, or more to enable us to expand our fight even further and claim victory on as many fronts as possible.

In Liberty,

Matt Hawes
Vice President
