RNC Chairman Priebus Statement on the Passing of Ambassador Peter Terpeluk Jr.

WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) released the following statement on the passing of Ambassador Peter Terpeluk Jr.:

“On behalf of the Republican National Committee, I want to extend my sincerest condolences to the Terpeluk family on the passing of a dedicated father and husband, Ambassador Peter Terpeluk Jr.

“Peter served his country and his Party with distinction, most recently as Finance Chairman of the Republican National Committee.  In addition to his work at the RNC, he served in multiple presidential administrations, in multiple presidential campaigns, as co-chairman of the Republican National Senatorial Committee and as Finance Co-Chairman of the Republican Governor’s Association.  From 2002-2005, he served as the United States Ambassador to Luxembourg.

“As a diplomat and Party leader, Peter served selflessly, and our nation and party are stronger for it.  While he will be sorely missed, he leaves behind many colleagues and friends grateful for his leadership and legacy.”
