RNC Chairman Priebus Statement on Agreement to Extend the Payroll Tax Cut

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement on the agreement to extend the payroll tax cut:

 

“It’s good news for the American people that Republicans in Congress have taken action so Americans will be able to keep more of their paycheck in the New Year.

 

“Simply put, after three years of Barack Obama’s failed policies that have taken us in the wrong direction, it’s clear we don’t have a leader in the White House capable of putting forth a long term plan to restore our country back to economic health.

 

"With more than 13 million Americans unemployed and trillions of dollars added to our debt, we need a president who will put our country’s best interests before his reelection.”
