WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new web video “He’d Rather Raise Taxes" in response to President Obama’s continued opposition to the bipartisan jobs bill in the House of Representatives. The video illustrates how President Obama would rather please his liberal allies than extend tax relief for middle class families and create 20,000 jobs.

“This bill is a no brainer,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “There’s bipartisan support for extending tax relief for middle class families and creating thousands of jobs with the Keystone pipeline, but President Obama says that he will veto the bill.”
“Once again, the president is putting his own job ahead of the 20,000 jobs that will be created by the Keystone Pipeline. The American people are starving for leadership to get the economy going again but this president continues to focus on saving his own job. We deserve new leadership in the White House.”
